Your life is yours. Your data should be too.

Doozy exists to give you a calm, capable place to organize your life — one that answers to you and no one else. We build for the long term, around a simple belief: the record of your days belongs to you alone.

Privacy is the default, not a feature

Most apps treat your privacy as a setting to be toggled — or a promise to be quietly broken. Doozy is offline-first: your journals live on your device and work fully without an account or a network connection. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is no surveillance to begin with. We don't run ads, we don't profile you, and we will never sell your data. That isn't a policy we might change; it's the foundation the product is built on.

You own your data

Ownership means more than a checkbox. Your data is stored locally in an open format, and you can export the complete history of any journal at any time — no lock-in, no ransom for your own words. Sync and sharing are choices you make, not defaults imposed on you. If you walk away from Doozy tomorrow, you take everything with you.

Why end-to-end encryption matters

We live in a world where personal data is increasingly weaponized — bought, leaked, subpoenaed, and turned against the people it describes. The only durable protection is to make that data unreadable to everyone but you. When you choose an encrypted journal, your entries are encrypted on your device with keys only you hold; we sync opaque blobs we cannot read, even if we wanted to, even if we were compelled to. Your trust shouldn't depend on our good behavior. With end-to-end encryption, it doesn't have to.

Build a record of your life that stays yours.
